MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Blackwell, OK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to proactively screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management resources, ensuring individuals have access to a variety of treatment options suited to their unique needs. We offer diverse services including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support with clinician contact as needed. For those who appreciate independence, the MOVE! Coach mobile app helps Veterans manage their weight at their own pace. Additionally, we cater to Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight through weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring initial MOVE! options.
