Jeff Sustarsic is a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) and a Ph.D. student in the Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral program at Kent State University. With a wealth of experience, he currently serves as a full-time Program Manager for the Cuyahoga County psychiatric crisis hotline and response team, known as the Mobile Crisis Team. His areas of expertise encompass depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and Cluster B personality disorders. Utilizing a multifaceted therapeutic approach that includes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Psychotherapy, Jeff views counseling as a collaborative process. He positions himself as both a mirror and consultant to clients, aiming to highlight their strengths while gently addressing thoughts and behaviors that may be hindering their progress. Jeff is committed to creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment for all clients.
