The Canton Friendship Center in North Canton, OH, is a welcoming haven for adults facing mental illness, substance use challenges, or loneliness. Here, community members can find free access to peer support and a safe environment that promotes healing and connection. Participants engage in a range of enjoyable activities and have the opportunity to join supportive groups like 'Healthy Lifestyles' and 'Reality Check.' Each month, we host a food pantry on the third Friday from 1-2 p.m., ensuring that everyone has access to essential resources. Our members actively contribute to the Center’s operations, collaborating with staff to identify and plan meaningful activities, emphasizing that every voice is valued. As part of CommQuest’s circle of care, the Canton Friendship Center also connects individuals with vital services such as mental healthcare and addiction recovery, making us a crucial resource for those in need.
