The Commodity Supplemental Food Program

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), operated by Hocking Athens Perry Community Action in Marietta, OH, is dedicated to supporting nutritionally at-risk, income-eligible individuals by providing essential food assistance. Each month, eligible participants receive nourishing food boxes filled with items like cereal, pasta, canned meats, fruits, and more, meticulously packed at the Southeastern Ohio Food Bank and distributed at local sites. This program aims to help families access emergency food resources and improve their nutritional health. To participate, interested individuals can pick up an application at any congregate meal site or at the Southeastern Ohio Food Bank, ensuring they bring necessary documents like proof of age, address, and income. Together, we strive to create a healthier community by ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food.
