Located in Lewis Center, OH, Promise House is a student-led community resource center and food pantry dedicated to empowering Otterbein students by addressing and dismantling socioeconomic barriers to their success. Our mission is to foster a supportive community through a variety of essential services, including our campus food pantry and community café, clothing assistance, and referrals to vital community resources. We also offer peer advocacy, volunteer opportunities, emergency mini-grants for urgent needs such as car repairs or health expenses, along with school supplies and toiletries. Our educational workshops, covering topics like financial wellness, are designed to equip students with the knowledge they need to thrive. Together, we create an inclusive environment where all students can access the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
