Meera Murthi is a compassionate psychologist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Meera integrates psychodynamic, cultural, cognitive, and mindfulness strategies to facilitate exploration of clients' attachment and childhood experiences, relational patterns, and emotional challenges, including anger and grief. With over a decade of experience, she has specialized in addressing childhood and adult trauma, eating disorders (such as bulimia and overeating), and a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, health diagnoses like cancer, family and couples dynamics, LGBTQ matters, cross-cultural adjustment, immigration challenges, and self-esteem concerns.
