Melissa Hladek is an experienced licensed professional clinical counselor and board-certified art therapist dedicated to supporting a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. Her strong specialty interests encompass women's issues, trauma, wellness and development, as well as the integration of creativity and positive psychology into her counseling practices. With a commitment to evidence-based treatment approaches, she tailors her methods to suit the individual needs of each client. Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in fine and performing arts from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in counseling and art therapy from Ursuline College. Currently, she is furthering her education by pursuing a doctorate in counselor education and supervision at Walden University. Melissa's counseling style is relational and behavioral, rooted in strengths-based approaches, as she believes that true growth and healing stem from genuine connection, acceptance, and a willingness to engage in the therapeutic process.
