Carolyn Zahner is a Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an MSW and LISW, who empowers her clients to gain clarity and find resolution by expanding their perspectives and developing new ways of being and doing. As a Trauma Informed Therapist, Carolyn employs an integrative approach that bridges medical and cognitive models with transpersonal and humanistic perspectives. She works from a Whole Person, systemic viewpoint, bringing years of expertise in addressing relationship issues, trauma, depression and anxiety, grief, death and dying, and life transitions. Carolyn also offers mediation services for families in divorce and custody situations, in addition to parent coaching. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to both adults and children. Beyond her private practice, Carolyn consults for social services, treatment facilities, schools, and churches, and has led numerous workshops and retreats. She currently facilitates a group process aimed at systemic healing within families. Understanding that managing life can be challenging, Carolyn collaborates with her clients to identify desired shifts and areas of personal growth. With a grounded and direct approach, she emphasizes embracing their innate wisdom and lived experiences, helping those she works with to build trust in themselves and discover their next best step.
