Private Practice is a skilled licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) with a strong focus on supporting individuals, particularly adolescents, through severe emotional and behavioral issues, as well as those facing co-occurring substance abuse challenges. With training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and expertise in chemical dependency, they also have experience working with adults, many of whom present mood disorders and personality disorders. As a clinical counselor with supervisory licensure, they have successfully guided interns in their professional journey. Additionally, Private Practice has a wealth of experience working with children and teens on the autism spectrum. Their enduring fascination with people fuels their passion for the work they do every day. With years spent caring for children and families in residential settings, they have witnessed the impact of trauma on many clients.
