Pamela Nilsson

Dr. Pamela Nilsson is a psychologist dedicated to creating a unique therapeutic relationship that fosters exploration and uncovering new possibilities for growth and change, particularly in areas that matter most to her clients. She collaborates closely with individuals, couples, and groups to dislodge deeply-embedded patterns of behavior and relational dynamics that may hinder progress, achievement of important goals, and the development of nurturing and sustaining connections. Central to her practice is the emphasis on relationships, whether through individual sessions, couples therapy, or group psychotherapy. Group work provides patients with a valuable opportunity to engage with others on similar issues, often facilitating deeper insights and accelerated growth when individuals feel they have reached a plateau. Beyond her private practice, Dr. Nilsson serves as a clinical instructor at Case Western Reserve University in the Department of Psychological Sciences. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association, and American Group Psychotherapy Associations, and holds a bachelor's degree with honors from Williams College.
