Amanda Degler, a Licensed Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work, is dedicated to guiding individuals as they navigate the challenges posed by past trauma and abuse. She knows that experiences of sexual abuse and trauma can create deep-seated negative beliefs and hinder one's ability to connect with others. Amanda understands that current stress can often ignite past wounds, leaving clients feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about their path forward. Whether individuals are emerging from a spiritually abusive situation, healing from childhood neglect, or escaping unhealthy relationships, she provides empathetic support on their journey to recovery. With expertise in various therapeutic modalities including Trauma-Focused Care, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems, Amanda believes in addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She fosters a safe and welcoming space where clients can express their emotions, whether it be through tears, strong language, or passionate outbursts. The process of reclaiming one’s identity and spirituality after experiences of abuse and trauma can be both emotional and complex, but Amanda finds it a privilege to accompany clients through this transformative journey.
