MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Woodside, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, providing tailored referrals to weight management services that prioritize individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we assist Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight loss by offering access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
