Harvest to Haven is dedicated to combating food insecurity in Woodside, NY, by providing vital food assistance to families in need through the purchase of surplus crops from local farmers. Responding to the urgent needs of our community, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, we ensure that vulnerable populations have access to essential nutrition. Our weekly food distributions are held at East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can receive one food package on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage visitors to bring their own carts or bags and wear masks for the safety of all. Join us in our mission to nourish our community and support families facing food challenges.
