Harvest to Haven, based in Woodhaven, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families facing food insecurity. By sourcing surplus crops directly from local farmers, we ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the critical nutrition they need, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program operates weekly food distribution events at East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can receive one food package on a first-come, first-served basis. We invite you to join us, bringing your own cart or bags, and kindly request that masks be worn for everyone's safety. Together, we aim to nourish our community and support those in need.
