Astoria Welfare Society (AWS)

The Astoria Welfare Society (AWS) is dedicated to supporting the Woodhaven, NY community by delivering critical food assistance to families in need. Each month, AWS serves between 7,000 and 10,000 families, offering a reliable source of emergency food and essential items to help them navigate challenging times. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry by providing access to groceries and vital supplies, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. We invite individuals and families to reach out to our organization for assistance and to visit us for their food pantry needs.
