Harvest to Haven

Harvest to Haven, located in Whitestone, NY, is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in need. We focus on sourcing surplus crops directly from local farmers, ensuring that vulnerable populations gain access to nourishing food during tough times, particularly highlighted through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program features weekly food distribution at our East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can receive one food package on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage community members to bring their own bags or carts and to wear masks for safety. Together, we strive to create a hunger-free community, one meal at a time.
