Nicole Karwashan is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, who works closely and collaboratively with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Recognizing that life presents various challenges, she is committed to helping clients navigate through difficult times. Nicole assists individuals in setting goals and creating a pathway toward joy and satisfaction. Understanding that many challenges arise from relationships with intimate partners, friends, family, and oneself, she focuses on strengthening these connections while dismantling unproductive patterns to foster positive ones. Specializing in eating disorders, Nicole has hands-on experience from her time working within residential, PHP, and IOP treatment centers, employing a systemic approach with a narrative focus. She is proficient in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which aims to alleviate the feelings of being 'stuck' in trauma-related thoughts. In addition to addressing a wide range of mental health struggles, she takes pride in supporting individuals battling eating disorders. Nicole also leads a virtual eating disorder peer support group every Wednesday evening, fostering community and healing among participants.
