Ecumencial Food Pantry

The Ecumenical Food Pantry, located within the Slater Center in White Plains, NY, is committed to alleviating hunger for families in need, particularly those in the Winbrook Public Housing and the wider community. Our mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our clients—ranging from young adults to the formerly incarcerated—by equipping them with essential resources and support. Every Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, we distribute bags filled with nutritious food items such as bread, eggs, meat, and fresh produce, ensuring that families have access to vital nourishment. Additionally, we deliver food to around forty home-bound clients every other Thursday, and seniors can receive assistance bi-weekly, allowing them to maintain their health and dignity. We invite those in need to visit us and experience the caring assistance that we offer to help overcome food insecurity in White Plains and beyond.
