Women, Infants, Children (WIC)

In Westbury, NY, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age five. Through our Special Supplemental Nutrition Program, we provide critical nutrition education, tailored breastfeeding support, and access to a variety of nutritious foods that help fill dietary gaps and support healthy development. WIC empowers participants with resources that lead to longer, healthier pregnancies and reduced rates of premature births. Eligibility includes being a pregnant woman, infant, or child under five years old, a new mother, or a breastfeeding mother, with options for non-citizen residents of New York State. To get started, individuals should bring proof of identity, residency, income, and pertinent health records to their appointment. We invite families to connect with WIC to access vital food assistance and support.
