Veterans' Services in Westbury, NY is dedicated to supporting returning soldiers and their families as they navigate the transition to civilian life. Our mission centers on providing essential food assistance through initiatives like Military Appreciation Tuesdays, where veterans and their families can access emergency food, personal care items, and a range of resources related to veteran benefits. We also offer a Mobile Pantry service, delivering nutritious groceries to homebound and disabled veterans who cannot access local food pantries. Additionally, our VetsWork program equips veterans with valuable job skills and practical experience, offering support in job searches, résumé writing, and volunteer opportunities.
