At Veterans' Services in Westbury, NY, we recognize the unique challenges faced by our brave servicemen and women as they transition back to civilian life. Our mission is to provide vital food assistance and support to veterans and their families through various initiatives designed with care and compassion. Each week, our Military Appreciation Tuesdays at our pantries offer veterans and their families access to emergency food, personal care items, household products, and essential resources related to veteran-specific benefits. For those unable to visit due to disabilities or other barriers, our Mobile Pantry brings nutritious groceries directly to their homes. Additionally, our VetsWork program equips veterans with valuable job skills, aiding in résumé writing, job searches, and offering practical workplace experiences through volunteer opportunities. We are dedicated to empowering our local veterans and fostering a supportive community that honors their service.
