Family Development Center

The Family Development Center, part of the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc., is dedicated to uplifting and empowering the Wantagh, NY community through a comprehensive range of support services. We offer assistance in crucial areas such as housing, employment, education, and senior advocacy to address the diverse needs of our community members. Our programs include employment assistance, advocacy, educational support, and nutrition services, along with dedicated help for undocumented residents and access to preventive workshops. Additionally, we provide youth services aimed at fostering growth and development. At the Family Development Center, we are committed to creating a stronger, more resilient community and invite anyone in need to explore the resources available to them.
