The Family Development Center, part of the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc., is dedicated to empowering the Valley Stream community by providing essential resources and support services aimed at enhancing the well-being of all residents. Our comprehensive programs focus on urgent needs such as housing assistance, employment support, nutrition services, and educational resources, ensuring that individuals and families have the tools they need to thrive. Additionally, we offer specialized services for seniors, undocumented residents, and youth, along with health insurance referrals and prevention workshops.
