Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

The Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, proudly part of Congregation Beth Ohr in Valley Stream, NY, is dedicated to addressing the urgent food assistance needs of Nassau County residents each month. We believe in treating every family with dignity and compassion, as if they were part of our own community. Our pantry allows clients to shop for their own food—guided by our understanding volunteers—ensuring that they feel empowered and respected. Families can visit us once a month and must complete a brief annual interview with our caring staff. Our mission goes beyond merely providing emergency food; we strive to uplift each family with personal support and connections to other essential services. We welcome visitors every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to find the support they need.
