MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in South Ozone Park, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that obesity screening and tailored weight management services are accessible to every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities. We offer a variety of options to support individual needs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, in-home messaging through TeleMOVE!, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided weight management. For Veterans who need additional support, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. Interested Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards healthier living.
