White Plains Community Action Program (WPCAP)

Located in Scarsdale, NY, the White Plains Community Action Program (WPCAP) is dedicated to combating poverty and enhancing services for those in need. We focus on supporting the 712 units of public housing and several federally subsidized buildings, primarily serving immigrant families and individuals facing economic hardship. Our comprehensive offerings include an Emergency Food Pantry to provide immediate food assistance, the Family Re-Entry Program, and the Project Green Thumb 'Just Say Yes' Produce Program, which encourages healthy eating. We also conduct Wellness Seminars and partner with the City of White Plains Youth Bureau for after-school programs. Additionally, WPCAP offers vital Winter Utility Assistance programs, organizes annual community events, and provides a Holiday Food Basket and Toy Giveaway, aiming to foster a supportive environment for everyone in our community.
