The Emergency Family Services Program (EFS) of the Salvation Army of Greater Rochester is dedicated to providing crucial urgent support to families and individuals experiencing crises in Monroe County. With a mission to meet immediate needs, EFS offers a range of services, including emergency food assistance through vouchers for local supermarkets, food bags, and personal hygiene kits. Our compassionate social workers are here to provide comprehensive crisis case management, prescription assistance, clothing support, and bus passes, ensuring that every individual receives the attention and resources they need. We also facilitate advocacy and referrals to additional services and offer bilingual support for our diverse community. Our food pantry operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and we encourage those in need to visit our office during intake hours to apply for assistance, as applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. At EFS, we are committed to empowering families with the tools they need to overcome challenges and thrive within our Rochester community.
