Women, Infants, Children (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age five in Ridgewood, NY. Our Special Supplemental Nutrition Program provides essential nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to a variety of nutritious foods that are often lacking in the diets of mothers and young children. By participating in WIC, families benefit from improved pregnancies and healthier growth outcomes for their children. We strive to create an inclusive environment — you do not need to be a U.S. citizen to access our services. To be eligible, participants must meet specific criteria, including residency in New York State, and income guidelines, or participation in programs like Food Stamps or Medicaid.
