Free Meals

Free Meals is dedicated to ensuring that every New Yorker has access to nutritious food by providing three free meals daily at over 400 Meal Hubs throughout Ridgewood, NY. This initiative by the New York City Department of Education offers convenient Grab-and-Go meals for all individuals, with service hours tailored for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We believe that no one should go hungry, which is why we welcome everyone to pick up meals—no registration or identification is needed. Parents and guardians can also collect meals for their children, and we cater to diverse dietary needs by offering vegetarian options at all sites, with halal and kosher meals available at select locations.
