New Beginnings Teen Parenting Program

Located in Richmond Hill, NY, the New Beginnings Teen Parenting Program, an initiative of J-CAP, is dedicated to empowering pregnant and parenting teens during a critical time in their lives. Our mission is to provide emotional support and essential resources that assist young mothers in becoming independent and successful. We focus on promoting educational achievement by encouraging teens to remain in school or pursue their General Equivalency Diploma (GED), while also offering pathways to higher education and career opportunities. Our comprehensive services include access to community-based GED instruction, life and social skills training, tutoring support for school assignments, nutritional education, and essential parenting and homemaking skills. At New Beginnings, we believe in equipping our young parents with the tools they need to foster a positive and self-sufficient future.
