Mobile Food Pantry - Rufus King Park

Located in Oakland Gardens, NY, the Mobile Food Pantry at Rufus King Park is dedicated to alleviating hunger through immediate food assistance and empowering individuals to rise above the pressures of poverty. We understand that true poverty impacts every facet of life, often stemming from insufficient income, health challenges, or other critical hardships. Our mission is to provide free groceries to families and individuals who lack the resources necessary to secure adequate food, including low-income families, seniors, single parents, unemployed individuals, and disabled veterans. We welcome everyone in need, regardless of race, color, or religion, and distribute food based on household size. Our pantry operates on the first and third Tuesday of each month, with hours varying: from 9-11 AM on the first Tuesday and 11 AM-1 PM on the third Tuesday. To access our services, please bring valid identification and join us as we work together to foster dignity and support for all in our community.
