Harvest to Haven

Harvest to Haven, located in Oakland Gardens, NY, is dedicated to fighting food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in need. Our program sources surplus crops directly from local farmers, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the nutrition they require, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. We offer weekly food distributions at various East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can receive one food package each on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage all visitors to bring their own bags or carts and to wear a mask while collecting provisions. Together, we nurture our community's health and well-being by making healthy food accessible to all.
