Harvest to Haven

Harvest to Haven is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Oakland Gardens, NY, by providing essential food assistance through the purchase of surplus crops directly from local farmers. Our mission is to ensure that vulnerable families have access to nutritious meals, especially during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. We invite community members to visit one of our East Side House Settlement community centers for weekly food distributions, where food is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with one package allowed per family. To facilitate a smooth experience, please bring your own bags or cart and remember to wear a mask. Together, we can nourish our community and support each other in times of need.
