SNAP-Ed NY

SNAP-Ed NY, administered by Cornell Cooperative Extension in North Tonawanda, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our community through free nutrition education and obesity prevention initiatives. We serve low-income adults and youth, focusing on encouraging the voluntary adoption of healthy food choices and active lifestyles. Our comprehensive programs include nutrition education, health education, food shopping, food safety, meal planning, and meal preparation. By fostering informed nutrition-related behaviors, we aim to create lasting positive changes in the lives of those we serve.
