Yaquelin's mission as a psychotherapist revolves around equipping clients with the essential tools needed to navigate life's myriad challenges. She firmly believes that healing is a collaborative journey, and she is devoted to creating a safe space where clients can enhance self-awareness, alleviate symptoms, and establish meaningful treatment goals. By integrating a diverse array of therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, solution-focused techniques, and motivational interviewing—Yaquelin tailors her methods to address each client's unique needs. Her clinical training at Hunter College of New York, combined with her experience on a mobile crisis team, has equipped her with the skills necessary to work effectively with high-risk populations. Throughout her career, she has successfully supported individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities facing issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and body image concerns. With her rich experience, Yaquelin connects with clients in a way that fosters comfort and trust in the therapeutic process. As a bilingual psychotherapist, she is also able to conduct therapy in both English and Spanish.
