Sarah Perl is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist (LCSW-R, CDWF) who understands that embarking on therapy is a deeply personal journey filled with complex emotions. She believes that to fully benefit from psychotherapy, individuals must feel respected, safe, and supported within the therapeutic relationship, creating an essential foundation for self-understanding and personal growth. Sarah is dedicated to helping adults and elders navigate issues such as addiction, relationship challenges, and life transitions, enabling them to enhance the quality of their interpersonal connections while uncovering the familial and relational contexts that shape their lives. With extensive training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and a wealth of experience in addressing depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and chronic illness—particularly HIV & AIDS—her clinical approach is grounded in relational and interpersonal philosophies, self psychology, and object relations. As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, Sarah leads a supportive group designed to foster shame resilience, using discussions, videos, and various creative exercises to inspire transformation in the ways we live, love, parent, and lead.
