Miklos Hargitay

Miklos Hargitay, PsyD, is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges in their lives. He understands that many struggle to effect change due to past adversities, current stressors, or self-imposed expectations. His clients often grapple with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other barriers that, at times, hinder their ability to relate to others or feel a sense of safety. With extensive clinical experience, Miklos recognizes that therapy can serve as a vital avenue for self-discovery, reflection, and transformation. He believes in the tremendous reservoir of strength within each individual, encouraging mindfulness, self-compassion, and a commitment to meaningful change. Miklos enjoys partnering with clients who have encountered anxiety, depression, and the lingering effects of trauma. As a white cisgender male therapist, he offers a non-judgmental, safe, and secure environment that fosters healing and processing of experiences. He is aware that the decision to engage with a therapist may come with hesitation, especially for those with previous negative experiences. When the time feels right for a client to take their first, second, or third step towards therapy, Miklos is committed to facilitating smooth transitions, promoting meaningful discussions, and supporting each person's unique healing journey.
