Edward Steen

Dr. Edward Steen is a dedicated psychologist with a PhD, who believes that many adult challenges originate from childhood experiences. He understands that strategies developed in youth to provide safety and alleviate fears may become less effective in adulthood. Through his compassionate and insightful approach, Dr. Steen explores clients' pasts to help them identify learned behaviors that may hinder their current happiness. Specializing in areas such as addiction, depression, and parenting challenges, he has successfully guided clients dealing with anxiety (including panic attacks and OCD), trauma, relationship issues, and identity matters, including sexual orientation and racial identity. Dr. Steen's straightforward methodology resonates with his clients, many of whom have encountered unsatisfactory experiences in previous therapy sessions. His ability to clarify the reasoning behind his questions and his commitment to challenging unhelpful patterns has been deeply appreciated.
