MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in New Hyde Park, NY, MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program tailored to enhance the well-being of Veterans. Our mission is to support each Veteran by annually screening those who receive care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with personalized weight management services. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that facilitates in-home messaging and access to clinicians as needed. For those wishing to manage their weight independently, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides robust tools and resources. Additionally, we cater to Veterans who may require more intensive support through weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
