The Welcome to NYC Initiative is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for newcomers settling in Monsey, NY, and embracing the vibrant culture of New York City. Our mission is to ensure that individuals and families transitioning to this dynamic environment receive the essential information and resources they need to thrive. We prioritize legal services, offering initial assessments, know-your-rights guidance, and referrals to trusted legal resources. In addition, our initiative extends to non-legal support, including access to self-help materials, case management services, and interpretation and translation assistance. We recognize that newcomers may face challenges in securing essential needs, so we also provide food assistance, clothing, housing support, and help in navigating public benefits. Our goal is to create a welcoming pathway for all new residents, helping them feel at home in their new community.
