Veterans' Services

Located in Merrick, NY, Veterans' Services is dedicated to supporting returning soldiers and their families as they navigate the transition from military to civilian life. Our programs are designed with the unique needs of veterans in mind, offering essential food assistance through our Military Appreciation Tuesdays at local food pantries, where veterans can access nutritious groceries, personal care items, and household products. We also operate a Mobile Pantry, delivering emergency food directly to homebound or disabled veterans who are unable to reach our facilities. To assist in career development, our VetsWork program provides vital resources such as résumé writing workshops and job search support, alongside hands-on volunteer opportunities to gain real-world experience.
