Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

Located in Merrick, NY, the Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, part of Congregation Beth Ohr, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in Nassau County. We believe in treating every family with dignity, welcoming them into our pantry where they can shop for their own food with the support of our compassionate volunteers. Each family is allowed to visit our pantry once a month and meets with our staff for an annual interview to ensure their needs are understood. Our mission goes beyond food; we strive to empower those we serve by offering a sympathetic ear and referrals to additional social services as necessary. Operating every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we are committed to helping our community one family at a time.
