Harvest to Haven

Harvest to Haven is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in Jackson Heights, NY, who are facing food insecurity. By sourcing surplus crops directly from local farmers, we ensure that vulnerable populations have access to nutritious food during challenging times, particularly exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program offers weekly food distribution at East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can receive one food package on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage community members to bring their own carts or bags for convenience and to wear masks to ensure the safety of all participants. Together, we are committed to alleviating hunger and promoting health in our community.
