Mobile Food Pantry Program

The Mobile Food Pantry Program, operated by the Food Bank of the Southern Tier in Ithaca, NY, is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to nutritious food. Our program brings fresh produce, dairy, and other essentials directly to communities in need, eliminating barriers to food assistance. When our truck arrives, clients are welcomed to 'shop' for their preferred items, empowering them to select the resources that best meet their families' needs. With a focus on addressing basic nutritional needs, our initiative brings food directly to distribution sites, aided by the generosity of volunteers.
