Diabetes Education Program

The Diabetes Education Program in Huntington Station, NY, is dedicated to empowering individuals with diabetes through comprehensive education and support tailored to both new and existing diagnoses. We connect participants with Registered Dietitians who provide essential guidance on healthy eating, meal planning, and reading food labels, alongside Diabetes Nurse Educators who offer insights on blood glucose monitoring, medications, and risk reduction. Our Diabetes Self-Management Classes are designed as a four-part series that not only educates but also fosters community by allowing participants to share experiences and strategies for effective diabetes management. Classes are open to all and are offered in both Spring and Fall, making it easier for you to take control of your health and live well with diabetes.
