First Stop Food Pantries

First Stop Food Pantries, located in Hicksville, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Our emergency food pantries offer up to five days' worth of nutritious food, ensuring that no one in our community has to go hungry. We not only supply food to meet basic needs but also connect our clients with vital community resources, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Child Health Plus, WIC, and various forms of assistance for heating, utilities, employment, and mortgage challenges. The safety of our staff and visitors is paramount; therefore, we welcome six families at a time and manage waiting room capacity to maintain a safe environment.
