Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

The Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, part of Congregation Beth Ohr in Hicksville, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in Nassau County each month. We believe in treating each family with dignity and respect, welcoming them into our pantry where they can choose their own food with the support of our compassionate volunteers. Families are encouraged to visit once a month, and an annual interview helps us understand their needs better. Our mission goes beyond just providing emergency food; we aim to empower families by offering a caring environment and connecting them to additional resources and social services when needed. The pantry operates on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ensuring we are here for the community when they need us the most.
