Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

The Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, located in Hempstead, NY, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in Nassau County. Rooted in the values of respect and compassion, we empower our clients by allowing them to shop for their own food with the support of our caring volunteers. Each family is invited to visit our pantry once a month and engage in an annual interview with our staff to ensure they receive the help they need. Our mission extends beyond just distributing emergency food; we strive to offer a supportive community, listening ear, and referrals to additional social services. We welcome clients to our pantry every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., always aiming to uplift those we serve.
