Located in Great Neck, NY, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of young families through essential food assistance and support services. Our mission is to provide supplemental nutrition assistance to women, infants, and children, ensuring they receive the vital nutrients necessary for healthy growth and development. We offer financial support for purchasing nutritious foods, including fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, while also providing nutrition education to empower families to make informed dietary choices. Our dedicated staff provides breastfeeding support and connects families to additional services for comprehensive care. Every family applying for WIC undergoes a brief health screening, which helps us tailor food packages to meet individual nutritional needs.
