Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry

The Alix Rubinger Kosher Food Pantry, part of Congregation Beth Ohr in Great Neck, NY, is dedicated to supporting the residents of Nassau County by providing essential food assistance each month. We prioritize respect and dignity for every family we serve, treating them like members of our community. Our clients have the unique experience of shopping for their own food, with the guidance of our caring volunteers. Families are welcome to visit our pantry once a month, and participation requires a yearly interview with our dedicated staff. In addition to emergency food access, we strive to offer a supportive hand-up through listening and connecting families with other social services as needed. We distribute food every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ensuring that everyone has access to nourishment and care during challenging times.
